Lab Coast
Lab Coast is a rock/pop band, formed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 2008, by Chris Dadge and David Laing. They are currently active, and have released three albums, two split 7" singles, and and two EPs. They are known for short, hooky pop songs, with an emphasis on strong vocal melodies, bustling rhythm section arrangements, and twin-guitar interplay. Lab Coast’s albums are characterized by a fuzzy, vaguely psychedelic, “lo-fi” production aesthetic, largely attributable to the band’s recording methods and equipment. Live, the band exists as a conventional five-piece rock combo, with unintentionally fluctuating membership. - https://www.facebook.com/labcoast/

The Velveteins
The Velveteins are a rock n' roll band consisting of members Spencer Morphy (vocals/guitar), Addison Hiller (percussion) and Dean Kheroufi originally from Edmonton, Canada. Their latest work " A Hot Second With The Velveteins" was produced by Lincoln Parish and described as "a collision of the Kinks and the Libertines, rollicking garage, moody surf and pop classicism with a rough edge" (EXCLAIM!). Their distinctive style of heavy guitar pop has translated into raucous and energetic shows opening for larger acts such as July Talk, Elephant Stone, Milo Greene and Michael Rault and appearing across Canada, America, and the UK. - https://www.facebook.com/TheVelveteins/

The music of Ghostkeeper is a continually-evolving organism; the defining aspect of all their music to date, coursing through each of their evolutionary stages, is that the band truly sounds like no one else. The current iteration of the band – uniting core members/vocalists Shane Ghostkeeper and Sarah Houle with drummer Eric Hamelin (Chad VanGaalen, Nomoreshapes) and bassist Ryan Bourne (Sleepkit, Devonian Gardens, Chad VanGaalen) – has carved out Ghostkeeper’s most unique soundworld to date. Their songs incorporate elements of '60s girl-group melodies, dashes of country royalty- Lynn, Wynette, and Cline -, and a profound melodic sense drawn equally from ‘90s indie rock, African pop, and traditional Aboriginal pow wow music. And the results are as catchy as they are singular. The brand new Sheer Buffalo 7” introduces the dystopian story of Sheer Blouse and Buffalo Knocks, spiritualist/explorer of realms and benevolent warrior, chronicling their battle against environmental destruction and the burden it places on their home lands in northern Alberta. - https://www.facebook.com/Ghostkeeper-34563340392/
