This 4-piece combo has dug deep into time and sound, down through the roots of rock n roll, and come out crawling and clawing their way from across the tracks to a heavy welterweight championship under the bright lights. Their journey together in electric sound has just begun. They are heavy breathing, howling wolves that will not be taken down easy. Bust a move or listen to the groove, either choice it’s a feel good knock out punch.
Guitarist Brent J. Cooper of Huevos Rancheros fame supposedly formed the Ramblin' Ambassadors on a dare. A booking agent needed a band, so he asked Cooper to come up with something. Cooper recruited bassist Scott Nickless, and quickly began writing songs. They had a few people fill in the drummer position, including David Alcock from Chixdiggit, who would eventually end up producing and recording Avanti. The Ramblin' Ambassadors settled down with drummer Tyler Pickering, played gigs, and recorded nine songs. The result was the 2003 Avanti, released on Vancouver's Mint Records. - http://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-ramblin-ambassadors-mn0000412143
