Fond Regards was recorded to analog tape in Madison, WI in 2017. The hazy sounding EP features Pat Sansone (Wilco, Autumn Defense), frequent collaborator Rob Laakso (Kurt Vile and the Violators), and Sydney friend Maia Marsh, released by Giraffe Boy Records in August 2017.
With this year’s Twin Evil Twin EP, Sunglaciers planted their stake as one of Calgary’s preeminent psych rock outfits. With a dazzling live show, the three-piece wind through their spindly pop gems, moving across time signatures and polyrhythms with ease. - https://www.sledisland.com/2018/sunglaciers
Dark Time is the artistic material Cayley O'Neill uproots from her dreams and nightmares. O’Neill’s music explores themes of love, addiction and mental health with unnerving honesty and a sense of twisted humour. In 2016, O’Neill joined forces with keyboardist Eric Heitmann (Speed Strips/Holgans/Purple Ryan) and guitarist Claudia Maria (The Sweets) to form Dark Time. In 2018, they brought Mathieu Blanchard on board to record drums for their first EP. They will release an EP produced by Chris Dadge in the Summer of 2018.
*This event takes place on the territory of the Blackfoot and the people of Treaty 7 Region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuu T'ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations. Calgary is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
