The Varmoors are a 5 piece good-time lovin' rock band. They move, shake, and rock the house. Their roots are blues, rock, and surf. - https://www.facebook.com/thevarmoors/
A new project from Calgary, blending indie and folk sounds to create artistic dreamscapes. - https://www.facebook.com/YvetteYYC/
Warm analogue synths meet twangy/shoegaze guitar.
Deep Covers is Daniel Wilson, who you may have seen before behind the drums in bands like The Northwest Passage, Geist and others. Sounds like Duane Eddy collided with Depeche Mode and landed somewhere in the early 90's.
*This event takes place on the territory of the Blackfoot and the people of Treaty 7 Region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuu T'ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations. Calgary is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
