Brandon Saucier, the man behind WINT, is a bit of a bedroom recording mastermind. Even with a lo-fi fuzz coating everything he records, his ability to find particularly poppy post-punk melodies in hasty recording sessions means that 2017 has already seen four EPs. Live, WINT manages to bring the bedroom haze in front of an audience’s attentive gaze.
Three graduates of Calgary's all-ages music scene have formed the spiky post-punk group Subjectivity, , and today Exclaim! is happy to present their debut EP.
Simply titled "Five Songs," the release offers plenty of noisy, dissonant and out-there compositions. There are off-kilter rhythms, messy jazz chords and dejected vocals. - http://exclaim.ca/music/article/subjectivity-five_songs_ep_stream
