Handmade tries to create an approachable atmosphere by blending pop aspects from indie, psych, RnB and jazz for almost everyone to experience something new.
A sound contorting dance party on stage built of electric guitar, synthesizers, electronic and real drums, bass and three part vocals. With many varying musical backgrounds between the members, The Pits are a kind of band you listen to on the way to the party, at the party, before you go to bed and when you wake up. It is an uplifting and thought provoking project that includes tales of aliens, space, love, tragedy and the faults of humanity.
Astral-plane-walkers meets perpetually-groovy-talkers.
*This event takes place on the territory of the Blackfoot and the people of Treaty 7 Region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuu T'ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations. Calgary is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
