"Raleigh's wonderfully titled Sun Grenades & Grenadine Skies, with its abundance of dude/lady vocal duets, off-kilter pop and reckless abandon for traditional folk setups... While things may get kooky, they never detract from the core ideals of strong songwriting and tenable music; this isn't some self-indulgent pet project intent on alienating, this is a collection of well-constructed ditties that happen to plunge into new territories. It's the best of both worlds." - (Music OMH UK)

“Unlike so many bands that prefer a softer voice and hushed tones, the results speak volumes.” - (the Calgary Herald)

"Raleigh, create beautifully layered songs that are as delicate as they are sophisticated. Tight vocal harmonies interweave and counterpoint with instrumental arrangements that sound far larger than their lineup might indicate. Geiger and Anaïs’ lyrics are both literate and accessible, creating an entire storybook world where characters are well rounded and familiar, traveling through settings that are all their own. " - (Beatroute Magazine)

The Now Feeling
Those of you with long memories may recall a psychedelic rock combo back in the 80s called The Now Feeling. Guitarist/songwriter Terry Tompkins and Allen Baekeland formed the band in 1983; also involved were Andrew Pearce on drums and Neil Sanderson on Farfisa organ. The band tread the boards at Ten Ft Henrys and the National, opened for John Cale, Johnny Winter, Los Lobos....later on Joe McCaffery joined and his raw lead guitar playing had a huge impact on the sound. The Now Feeling moved to Toronto in search of a bigger audience, and didn't find one, by 1988 it was over. Terry and Allen went on to begin a more acoustic project called Lost and Profound, which later got signed by Polygram, and made some expensive CDs and videos on their dime in the next decade without selling much. Meanwhile Joe moved back to Calgary and formed two well-loved acts, The Quitters and Straight. - https://www.facebook.com/thenowfeeling/

Foon Yap
A hauntingly beautiful blend of folk and electronic, FOONYAP's latest album is a raw and unguarded reflection of her tumultuous journey to self-discovery. - https://www.facebook.com/FOONYAPmusic/

Evan Freeman
Evan Freeman is a Calgary-based musician, singer and songwriter. Evan's music evokes vast landscapes: prairie thunderstorms, soaring glacial peaks and post-apocalyptic skylines. His debut Luna wraps post-rock and shoegaze production around dreamy pop hooks, evoking Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Beach House and Ride. - https://www.facebook.com/evanfreemanmusic/
