War Baby
War Baby, a simultaneously noisy and melodic trio from Vancouver, delivers an enveloping, catchy sophomore album with Death Sweats. Featuring big, warm guitars, vocals that can be gently cloaked in reverb or bare and screamed, and low, distorted bass, the 90s alt-rock influence comes across as prominently as some of the band's heavier touchstones. - www.allmusic.com

The Allovers
The slick, loveable trio means business with their debut album, a refreshing 15-song cocktail of punk and garage-meets-50’s-dance-meets-noise pop that at times can sound like the engines of a 747 at takeoff. What began as a project to add sing-along jams to guitarist Matt Pahl’s films morphed into a crunchy pop-punk collaboration with the addition of bassist and fellow songwriter Paul Arnusch (The Wet Secrets, Faunts, The Whitsundays) and drummer Garrett Kruger (Fire Next Time). The Allovers are kinda dum, kinda smart, but all heart and soul. - https://www.facebook.com/TheAllovers/

Tee Tahs
Playing with sexual politics and dichotomies in their song titles and imagery, the Tee-Tahs use garage rock as their snotty, piss-and-vinegar-filled weapon. They’ll be the ones yelling about kicking cans, breaking stuff and fucking in parking lots, and don’t need your permission to do so. - https://www.sledisland.com/2015/tee-tahs

Feel Alright
A mixture of equal parts Wings and Big Star, there are enough three-part harmonies and restless guitar pop here to set a smile to anyone’s face. Feel Alright has survived its years in Calgary’s music scene on an effortless ability to please and Craig Fahner’s melodic intuition. - https://www.sledisland.com/2016/feel-alright
