Born and raised prairie boys, the band is comprised of the beating rhythms of Craig Aikman’s guitar, the groovy riffs of Matt Tysowski’s bass, the intense licks of Mark Heit’s guitar and the complex beats of Tyler Reimer’s drums. Zoo Lion has found chemistry that has synchronized into a fresh new sound crashing into Calgary’s growing rock scene, from hard rock to folk-rock fusions.
Mountain Sound Brigade
The music of Mountain Sound Brigade draws on rock, folk and roots influences utilizing a broad array of instruments including piano, lap steel and 12 string guitars. They draw inspiration for their music from time spent in the wilderness of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Shoot The Lights Out
Original rock and roll band from Calgary that plays a high energy show of rock, blues, funk and soul. Hard-hitting riffs, rock-solid grooves and powerful, honest vocals collide in songs that offer an authentic soundtrack to the good times and the bad.
