Stucco
stucco is a rhythmic exploration into the angularity of music. the wicked, crumbling metropolis of our prairie city turned corporate theme park is our backdrop. a world that disintegrates is what inspires us.

Richot Textiles ( Winnipeg)
After twenty years playing music together, Drew Riekman, Mitchell Trainor and Reuben Houweling created Ritchot Textiles, a project steeped in their love of droning distorted synthesizers, hypnotic repetitive sequencers and psych-indebted production against the backdrop of minimal krautrock and industrial electronics. RT is a vessel for unhindered joyous creativity between longtime collaborators.

Dial Up
Featuring an eclectic lineup of Calgary mainstays, Dial Up is Calgary’s latest art-punk sensation. With wobbly bass lines and disarmingly jangly synth work, this energetic quintet wields the no-wave antagonism of James Chance like a sonic weapon. After touring Canada in support of their debut EP, Dial Up makes landfall at Sled Island. – https://www.sledisland.com

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, the Iyarhe Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations), the Battle River Territory of the Métis Nation of Alberta Districts 5 & 6, and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
