Gustaf (NYC)
Known for high-energy shows and an idiosyncratic take on post-punk, Gustaf is a rhythmically intoxicating art rock band that knows how to make a party turn weird… in the best way. Debut album Audio Drag for Ego Slobs (Royal Mountain Records) has shades of Jonathan Richman, The Fall and ESG, delivered with their own sense of one-of-a-kind cool. – https://www.sledisland.com

Stucco
Post-punk outfit Stucco burst onto the scene with their incendiary release, EP1. They excel at thick, velvety basslines, wiry guitars and vocals proclaiming the drudgeries of our so-called modern life. Distilling influences from seminal post-punk and art rock groups, Stucco builds upon the time-honoured tradition of using music as a catalyst for shaking up the system. – https://www.sledisland.com

Parisian Orgy
A solo project that eventually grew into a six-piece, Parisian Orgy is mastermind Gwen Morgan and members of Sunglaciers, Wish Lash and Uncanny Valley. Somewhere between post-punk, no wave and something that doesn’t have a name yet, the band is known for animated performances that include things like toy horns. A debut full-length is planned for this year. – https://www.sledisland.com
