Holy Void
This Winnipeg-based psych hexad channels the fragile chaos of existence into dark soundscapes of noisy art rock. Formed in 2014, the band pushes modern psychedelia’s boundaries by weaving electric violin and cello into heavy, atmospheric compositions. Their latest album, All Will Be Revealed In Time, is a nine-track exploration of belief, insecurity, and mortality.
BITTER//WASHED
Coming in hot from out west, four-piece outfit BITTER//WASHED throw fast paced garage rock haymakers. Their brand of punk blends with layers of searing fuzz and psych sounds creating an irresistible stew of sweet loudness. Their debut album Bitter Illusions was released in December 2023, full of noisy guitars and catchy hooks that leave you wanting more.
Stem Champ
With swirling synths over grunge punk power chords, Stem Champ playfully captures the ephemeral joy of late night bike rides and giggled conversations. Somewhere in the valleys between emo and indie rock lies Prairie Skies Forever, their debut album and love letter to the province, wrapped in ripped jeans and covered in high-five hooks.
