Window Lamp
Like a jagged gem that sparkles bright, Window Lamp summons garage rock with a haunting vibe that blends surf aesthetics with a punk-rock attitude for a sound that is at once polished and authentic. Reverberated vocal quips and a deferring pace from the rhythm section are complemented by jangly guitar chords and elements of percussive support. – https://www.sledisland.com/2023/window-lamp

Selci
Toronto based singer-producer Selci bridges art pop with ambience through her use of traditional instruments and experimental electronics. Her recent double album Fallen Woman 1 + 2 (2022) was co-produced and mixed by grammy award winning engineers Sylvia Massy and Mark Lawson. The record is a celebration of modern relationships and an ode to fallen women of the past. Each track showcases Selci’s dynamic vocal range and her broad palette as a producer.

Postnamers
POSTNAMERS is the ever-evolving project of Matthew Wilkinson. Wilkinson has picked up and dropped off collaborators throughout their moves around Alberta, but has always made dancefloor night terrors along the way. – https://www.sledisland.com/2018/postnamers

Rosie Wyse
Rosie is a Toronto based grunge artist originally born in Zimbabwe to missionary parents. She incorporates classical and theatrical elements into punk music with a raw unhinged approach. This dynamic combination creates a tension and release in her performances, where she can be seen writhing around the stage in pain and ecstasy. With heart wrenching vocals and impactful guitar riffs, Rosie seeks where beauty and ugliness take hold of each other, depicting the untraversed crevices of the psyche.

As a professionally trained and practicing actor, Rosie’s took it upon herself to create roles of her own to tie into her music. The first of which would be Ted, which was an official selection and winner at several international film festivals including; Toronto Indie Film Fest (winner), Picasso Einstein Buddha International (winner), Cult Movies International Film Festival (winner), 4Theatre (finalist), Roma Short Film Fest, Tokyo International, New Wave Shorts and more.

Rosie’s debut album Slut was produced by Matthew Tomasi (Nicole Dollenganger, Ethel Cain). It was received warmly amongst varying music scenes, transcending genre and breaking musical barriers. Rosie continues to strive for authentic expression with the intent of innovating past the status quo.
