The Moon Runners (Swift Current)
The Moon Runners are an enchanting, boisterous, progressive emo-rock band, combining emotional and complex music with chaotic, frantic energy. Impassioned shouted vocals, sunburnt effect-laden guitars, hypnotizing soundscapes with complex rhythms, they are the sound of glitched out digital pop rocks being zapped through your brain.
Their 2019 release, Wakeless 2095, saw them nominated for the Saskatchewan Music Awards’ “Metal/Loud Artist of The Year”, as well as the Western Canadian Music Awards’ “Metal/Hard Artist of The Year”. They reside on treaty 4 land, and are committed to fostering a safe space at all shows.
