Pat Burgener
Pat Burgener is a Swiss professional snowboarder and musician.

Endowed with a precocious talent on his board, he joined the Swiss national team at the age of 14. His ambition opens the door to the summits, catapulting him many times into the top 3 in the world.

Like most athletes at this level, Pat suffered from several injuries. Following one of them in 2014, he took advantage of the off-snow weather to develop his second passion, music. He then created his music group with his brother Max and a childhood friend.

His first titles allow him to be programmed at several internationally renowned festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Sion Sous Les Etoiles or recently, the Gürten Festival.

Back on his board, Pat continues his ascent and continues to achieve the best results of his career, including two podiums at the World Championships in 2017 and 2019, and an extraordinary 5th place at the 2018 Olympic Games. find my inner balance, which is essential to perform in any field.’ he said about his performance.

In March 2018, supported by Universal Music, Pat released his first EP titled The Route which met with great success, now totaling more than a million plays on Spotify.

This summer, he is back with his second opus which bears the name of Icar in reference to the legend of Icarus from Greek mythology. ‘I think everyone should fly as high as they can and terminate their dreams, even if it means taking risks.’ he explains. The EP was recorded last year in San Diego with Jasper Leak, producer known in particular for his work with Sia or his recent nomination for the 2019 Emmy Awards as music supervisor of the documentary ‘QUINCY’ by Quincy Jones.

At the same time, Pat remains focused on his sporting goals with, in the corner of his head, the dream of climbing to the top step of the podium at the Beijing Olympics in 2022.
