Babe Corner (Vancouver)
Babe Corner is a rock band from Vancouver BC. Catchy guitar riffs, dreamy synths, and soothing melodic lead vocals that are backed up with 4 part harmony give Babe Corner a nostalgic rock vibe. Babe Corner just released their debut LP Crybaby. To assume it’s genre, you could call it “Babe Core” – however, nobody puts baby in a corner.

Window Lamp
Like a jagged gem that sparkles bright, Window Lamp summons garage rock with a haunting vibe that blends surf aesthetics with a punk-rock attitude for a sound that is at once polished and authentic. Reverberated vocal quips and a deferring pace from the rhythm section are complemented by jangly guitar chords and elements of percussive support. – https://www.sledisland.com/2023/window-lamp

Lushings
Emerging from the early days of the pandemic, Lushings has honed a psych-rock sound that’s equal parts dreamy and haunting. Grunge influences ruffle the edges while wandering riffs and ethereal vocals occupy the core. Taken together, the dynamic offers a sonic space well worth getting lost in. – https://www.sledisland.com/2023/lushings
